Falling temperatures mean falling tire pressure. Make sure you check your tire pressure as colder Autumn temperatures arrive.
It’s been tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS) light week here at Quirky Uncle. Temperatures dropped suddenly a few days ago and the TPMS lights illuminated in our cars and the cars of family and friends.
There were no problems with any of the tires. All were a few pounds low, enough of a change to cross the TPMS change threshold. Added a bit of air to each tire, recalibrated the TPMS system, and we were good to go.
It’s a good time for you to check your tires, too! With correct pressure, your car drives safer, handles better, and burns less fuel.
